Bottesford is about 20 miles east of Nottingham and 7 miles west of Grantham. The village is well-served in terms of employment, retail, education and health services. It also has an hourly bus service and train services to Nottingham and Grantham.
Working on behalf of a consortium of landowners, Planit-X has secured the allocation of around 15 hectares of largely agricultural land on the north-western edge of Bottesford for residential development. Initially we promoted the site through the Bottesford Neighbourhood Plan, developing our proposals with the local community. The site was subsequently taken forward through the Melton Local Plan and it is now the largest housing allocation outside Melton Mowbray.
Planit-X is now leading the submission of an outline planning application for the development of the site for up to 250 new homes.
